• How do I book with you?

The best way to book is via the email form on the Contact Page. This helps me keep your information more organized, so I’m not scrambling to find your tattoo ideas and photos through text/instagram/facebook.

Turnaround time varies, but I usually don’t like to book out for more than 2 months at a time to keep my schedule flexible.

  • Do you take walk-ins?

Nope! I spent most of my career doing walk-ins, and now I prefer to work by appointment.

Who knows though! Stay tuned with our Mailing List for any updates and potential flash events!

  • How much for a tattoo?

How much for a bag of groceries? How long is a string? How big is a car?

How deep is the ocean? How high the moon?

  • OK dick, what are your rates then? Is there a minimum?

Current rates are $450 half-day (11AM-2PM), $850 full-day (11AM-5:30PM).

For smaller work $200/hour, $150 minimum

  • Are there any types of tattoos you won’t do?

In the interest of longevity, I don’t do no-outline tattoos, watercolor tattoos, white outline/color outlined tattoos. Also, if I feel like I’m not the right guy for the job, or if someone else can do it better, I will let you know!

The goal is to have you looking as good as possible the day of, as well as 5, 10, 20 years+ from now.

  • What’s your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

You can reschedule once with a 48-hour notice without losing your deposit, or if you need some time for whatever reason you can hold off for up to 6 months before your deposit gets forfeited (I ain’t no bank!)

Deposits are also forfeited for cancellations, no-shows, and lateness of 30 minutes or more (so please show up on time!)

No-shows/no-calls will get you blacklisted (so if you can’t make it please let me know!)

  • When can I expect a response to my email?

I will do my best to respond within 2-3 days! Sometimes longer if work has been particularly busy, so please have patience!

  • Can you send me the artwork before my appointment?

Usually no, unless it is much larger piece we have discussed.

  • Why not?

A lot of reasons, but the main one being that digital drafts of the tattoo design are usually just line-drawings and not fully rendered finished works, so they may not make a lot of sense without explanation — and a back-and-forth via email/phone/text is a pretty terrible way to discuss things of this nature.

If for any reason you show up to your appointment and want to make any changes to the design, I will be happy to redraw things together in-person.

We’ll make sure we are both completely satisfied with your design before we even start the tattoo.

  • Where are you located?

Currently at Fountain Square Tattoo located at 1104 Prospect St, Indianapolis IN 46203

*I am no longer tattooing in Brooklyn!*

  • Do you do any uhhhhhhh free touch ups?

Nope! In my opinion a tattoo should be done well the first time before it ever leaves the shop, and if we need an additional session for whatever reason we’ll be sure to communicate that ahead of time before you go.

However, I understand shit happens. If something happens like your dog scratches your tattoo while its healing or you misspelled your first-born child’s name, feel free to contact me via email to sort it out.

  • Answer these queries three and from mine prison thou shalt be free. A traveller wearied and worn arrives at a fork in the road which leads to two villages. In one village the inhabitants tell naught but lies, and in the other only truth has yet been told. The traveller means to seek refuge in the village of truth. A man from one of the villages is standing in the middle of the fork, but lo! Indication there is not of which village he hails. The traveller approaches the man and asks him a single question. From the villager's answer, he divines the proper path. Prithee tell me, what spake the traveller?

Dude, what? How do you keep getting in to the tattoo shop? Please leave.
